Tech-Focused Courses

While at camp you will have the option of choosing between distinct tech fields to focus in on your areas of interest including:

  • Moviemaking and Animation Creation

  • Game Development and Design


College Campus Experience

During our week long camp, get a feel for a college campus and a week in the life of a college student. Our Overnight students will get to stay in a college dorm, eat at the Boise River Cafe, and take classes on campus!

  • Experience the BSU Campus on a first hand basis!

  • Get a sense for what college can be like

  • Determine for yourself if its right for you!



Our movie making class will help you create a lot of effects for your projects. See what kind of elements you will be able to work with.

Off-Screen Activities

Outside of classes we will be balancing that screen time with plenty of outdoor activities that will continue to challenge and excite our students while also making sure that they are exposed to a variety of ideas.

  • Activities with UnBound, Maker Lab, Engineering Dept BSU

  • Trips to Boise Aquarium, Discovery Center, Apple Computer

  • Trips to Jump Time, Rec Center for bowling and much more

Where is drop off & pick up?

June Camp:

Overnight Camp - Drop off is Sunday 6/23 from 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Keiser Hall, please come with the designated forms completed in the Welcome packet you will receive upon purchasing access to camp. Pick up is after the showcase on 6/28 at 4:00 PM at Keiser Hall.

Day Camp - Drop off is Monday 6/24 from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM at Keiser Hall, please come with the designated forms completed in the Welcome packet you will receive upon purchasing access to camp. Pick up time is 4:00 PM daily at Keiser Hall.

Are Scholarships / Financial Aid available?

We do have some options to help alleviate the financial aspect of going to camp in the form of our coupon options upon checkout, there are coupons available such as:
- Referring other campers = "referral" code $75 discount
- Returning campers = "returning" code $100 discount


What is your Refund policy?

 A nonrefundable registration fee of $50 is required. Remaining refunds are given before May 1st, 2019. After that date refunds are not given. However, A full credit for future GetSetInc camps is available and transferable for one full year.

Where will we be going for this camp?

The GetSetInc Summer Camp 2019 will be housed at the Boise State Campus at Taylor Hall for June dates. Registration and pickup will take place at these locations In addition there will be daily field trips and excursions throughout the campus and downtown Boise area such The Discovery Center, JumpTime, etc.

What will each day be like?

We will be exploring different parts of the BSU campus and Boise downtown area and returning to our dorms each evening. Other times will be filled with learning and social activities, great meals, and lots of informal time to hang out and get to know other students. There will always be adult supervision. Daily learning activities will focus on technology topics and student success strategies.

Where will we stay on the program?

The GetSetInc Summer Camp 2019 is considered a campus overnight program. Participants will be provided rooms with 2-4 roommates and a counselor. Bedding, pillows, and blankets are provided, however campers are asked to bring their own bathroom towels and toiletries.
